Why Dubrovnik?
Beautiful city, beautiful country, just the perfect match among romance,
culture, atmosphere...
What were your feelings the morning of the wedding?
Easy going: I knew everything was perfectly organized, so I was looking
forward to experience "Just a perfect day" . Relaxed day with my friends,
enjoyed the hairdresser (she was a miracle for me) and make up artist,
two nice young ladies who behaved like my old friends, we all had
a feeling like on the "girl party".
Did you have a wedding theme / colour theme?
Did I? :-) Colour combination was yellow and white.
Was planning a wedding abroad more complicated than planning
a wedding at home?
Absolutely not, thanks to Nina:-)
What was the feedback you received on your wedding?
Excellent, people enjoy something different, not comparable atmosphere
with local (Slovak) wedding. Everybody was smiling, enjoying nice
garden, sea, and whole atmosphere around. It was the best choice we
could do, no stress no worries only smiling people.
Did you go over your planned budget?
A little bit: once you are there, once you plan it like this, you
want everything to be so beautiful that you do not mind so much. Everything
was balanced and therefore we do not regret 1 EUR spent there.
Do you think you would have spent more or less if you were
to organise a wedding at home?
For sure less, but for sure with a different atmosphere. Not telling
it would not be nice, but Dubrovnik was very special and it will always
be remembered as a very very special day.

My friends often ask me, how did you organize this? Why Dubrovnik?
Why this garden? The beginning of our story was, that Jacco and I decided
to have a wedding close to sea in a beautiful place ... we both came
with the idea of Dubrovnik. So my friend "Google" helped me to find
right match.. "wedding in Dubrovnik": I contacted Nina due to her professional
website, excellent references, nice pictures and some stomach feeling
-"it will work"!
I was right, professional approach from very beginning and feeling you
do not need to worry because Nina would organize everything. I am quite
difficult person to reply on emails, to decide, but Nina managed me
perfectly: I am telling from my heart...no worries at all, during the
whole preparation phase until the end.
Nina is very nice person, honest, trustable from very beginning. She
never looks stressed and she drives the car like Schumacher:-)
