Why Dubrovnik?
We had our first holiday together in Dubrovnik. When we started to plan the wedding we remembered how beautiful Dubrovnik was and what wonderful memories we had of the place and decided it was where we wanted to be married.
What were your feelings the morning of the wedding?
I was surprisingly calm all morning, maybe too calm as I ended up running later than expected and had a bit of a dash to the church!
Did you have a wedding theme / colour theme?
No theme as such. We wanted it to be a relaxed day, not too formal and to give our guests, who had travelled to be with us, a fantastic day out.
Was planning a wedding abroad more complicated than planning a wedding at home?
Definitely not. Having a wedding abroad means that you have to release a lot of the control and put your trust in your wedding planner. In the end, she is the one who does the leg work and you can put your feet up!
What was the feedback you received on your wedding?
Fantastic! Everybody seemed to have a great day.
Did you go over your planned budget?
Went over our budget slightly but well worth it.
Do you think you would have spent more or less if you were to organise a wedding at home?
Slightly. It was worth every penny though!

We found Dubrovnik Riveria Weddings through an internet search. We had made enquiries with a couple of different wedding planners in the area but felt very comfortable with Nina straight away.
This feeling was confirmed when we met them on a trip to Dubrovnik the year before the wedding. We both found the planning of the wedding very easy, helped in nosmall part by Nina and Martina who were always on hand with information and options at every turn. We were especially happy with the photographs that Nina took, they really captured the atmosphere and beauty of the day. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our day, it really was everything we could have hoped for.
