Gils is quite the combination between a historical venue and advanced modern kitchen. At this venue you are looking at dining on the city walls or at the atrium terrace within the huge walls whilst enjoying the latest kitchen trends with freshest ingredients.
We would not go as far as to say Gils is your typical wedding venue, because it is not! It is a trendy spot on a great location within a great historical monument.

Gils is a complex restaurant, it has terraces, corners, levels... so there is a lot to be seen once you enter the green doors. Due to it's different spots it is suitabe for the smallest wedding party of only two but can also seat a group up to 70 guests.
Because this venue is within the old town of Dubrovnik, you can combine any old town ceremony with a dinner here.

Gils opens it's doors at 18.30h for guests that want to enjoy a welcome cocktail up on the seaview terrace. Dinner service starts at 19.00h.

Gils provides soft back ground music via a combined sound system at all it's venue area's. Unless you take full exclusivity of the whole venue, you are not able to bring your own DJ or band or change the music they play. Soft music is provided until midnight.
After midnight, everyone is invited to the seaview port terrace which is the pop lounge, this remains open until 2.00am and is open to the guests of all areas at Gils.

Couples will receive a free menu tasting after booking has been confirmed. You are not allowed to deliver any drinks to the restaurant but you can count on an extensive international wine list.

You can choose between 4 different dining areas at Gils: the Atrium Terrace, the Tower Terrace, the Restaurant and the Cages.
The cage is only for very small groups up to maximum 8 guests. There are two cages at Gils.
For all the pre-dinner drinks and after dinner relaxation the most suitable is the port terrace which is laid out as a pop lounge, open until 2am in the mornings.

Live Music: is only allowed if you have booked full exclusivity.
Groups: one menu for the whole group applies, vegetarians and guests with food allergies will be catered for seperately.
The Tower terrace: during the month of June group reservations require a minimum of 70€ per menu. In July and August a minimum total bill of 5000,00€ is required.

As you enter the old town via Ploce Gate, just 50 meters after the gate you will find the green entrygate of Gils on your left hand side. Gils is just off the Dominican Monastery church, the Sponza Palace, the St. Blaise Church, the St. Ignatius Church and the Cathedral.
